• Can I sell my own unique products through my store?
  Yes. Through our online store interface you can upload your own products, create your own pricing and much more. Contact a representative for details.
• Who sets the prices of the products I sell in my online store?
  You do. Set your own prices or markup percentages on the products you want to sell. You also have the option to make products available in your store at a set recommended list price.

Website Services

• How many days will it take to get my website online?
  Your website will be ready in 2 business days after we've received all of your submitted information; however, if you need to re-delegate your DNS it could take up to 72 hours after your website is setup to have search engines render your website.
• Can I update and edit my own website?
  Yes, you may edit the following areas of your website:
  

  • Page copy and images.
  • Graphic Headers may be uploaded and applied to every page except your gallery page.
  • Social Media links.
  • Header phone number/tag line.
  • Custom products and services pages may be added.
  • Your logo.
  • Photo gallery.
• Can I have a custom website template?
  No. However with over 50 design, color and style combinations, we're condifent you'll find a template that will fit your needs. And you can change your template as often as you like.
• What kind of mail support do I get with Website Services?
  Your email is accessible through your webmail interface, SmarterMail. You can also set up and use an email client program on your computer (such as Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, Apple Mail, and Thunderbird). You get 10 email addresses associated with your domain name.
• Can I add email accounts?
  Yes. Your Membership includes 10 email addresses, but additional email packages are available to fit the needs of your business.

• What is Web Presence Management?
  Web Presence Management is an online distribution tool that updates business profiles across all major local search engines from one central location.

• How much traffic will these listings drive?
  With the resources that we have available to us, we try and make sure your business appears at the top of search engine results. However that being said, where your business places on the search results will depend on several factors. We know that having your content read the same between website, social media and blogs helps improves your ranking. Other things that are beyond your/our control include: location, nearby competitors, and those in your area that pay for higher placement. Unfortunately, the search engines results can be fairly unpredictable, we cannot offer any sort of forecast in regards to traffic and/or sales leads.
• How often will Visual Communications Group update my business listings and social networking sites?
  Any time you log into your Visual Communications Group dashboard and update any of the following profile elements we will be sure to update your business listings and social media sites within 1-2 business days.
  
  We will update your business listing as often as you update your Web Profile though your VCG dashboard.

• What is the turnaround time for my listings to be active on the Internet?
  Social Networking Sites (1-2 days)
  Once your social networking profiles have been created by a VCG staff member and the verification emails have been verified they will be up instantaneously ready for you to use.
  
  Search Engines (7-10 days)
  With search engine listings, the amount of time it takes to get your business listings live on the Internet is dependent upon you. Google and Bing require that you verify your accounts via PIN number or by US Mail (which can take up to a week to receive). Once the PIN number is received by you and conveyed it to us by email or phone, it will take another 3 days or so before it's live. Yahoo has verification process which also varies, but on average it takes about 7 - 10 days.

Directory Listing

• How can I improve my search position?
  Paid members of Visual Communications Group get preferred placement on our directory search engines. In addition, there are banner and sponsored listings opportunities available as add-ons to your Membership.
• Can I appear in search results beyond my physical location?
  Yes. Visual Communications Group members can purchase additional advertising real estate on our site. Learn more about directory add-ons.
